Things to be aware of when installing LCD in place of OLED

  • Reduced battery life - Whole screen is illuminated instead of individual pixels

  • Lower display quality - Similar to the difference between HD and 4K

  • Larger borders - Between the side of the phone and where the display starts

  • Thicker - LCD is thicker so screen sits higher and may affect case fitting

  • Not as flexible - Easier to damage when dropped

OLED

There are several options available:

  • Soft - As close to original as you can get for an aftermarket display

  • Hard - Same quality, but the display is easier to break (We tend not to offer these)

  • Refurb / Pulled - Genuine screen taken off another device and repaired if needed

  • Service Pack - Genuine, brand new part direct from the manufacturer
