Please read these terms carefully before using our services.

Application: These terms apply to all repairs/services provided by AsTech Repairs.

Definitions: “Us”, “We”, “Our” refer to AsTech Repairs; “You”, “Your” refer to the customer.

Agreement Period: Starts when you book an appointment and ends when the device is repaired/returned and payment completed.

Time Estimates: Repair time estimates are not binding.

Device Collection: Devices not collected in a reasonable time may be disposed of, with proceeds covering unpaid charges.

Repair Costs: If repairs exceed the quoted cost or cannot proceed, we’ll notify you prior to completing the repair.

Warranty: Repairs are guaranteed for 12 months for the same fault. Unrelated faults are not covered.

Warranty Limitation: Clumsy handling or accidental mishandling by the customer, which leads to additional damage or repair requirements, is not covered under the warranty. This includes but is not limited to drops, impacts, or other user-induced issues occurring after the initial repair.

Warranty Scope: Faulty software, accidental damage, and third-party repairs void warranties.

Warranty Proof: Proof of warranty may be required for free repairs.

Warranty Exclusions: Manufacturing defects like fingerprint, Wi-Fi, or software update faults are not covered.

Third-Party Repairs: Devices may be sent to third-party repair centers, with prior notice.

VAT: Prices include VAT unless stated otherwise.

Replacements: For uneconomical repairs, a suitable replacement may be recommended.

Incorrect Info: Providing incorrect device info may incur a £10 diagnostic fee.

Unrepairable Devices: If unrepairable, devices will be returned, potentially with an inspection fee.

Charges: We may retain the device until all charges are paid and charge for storage if applicable.

Price Quotes: All price quotes provided are valid for a period of 14 days from the date of issue. After this period, the quote may be subject to review and adjustment based on current costs and conditions.

Damage Liability: If damaged due to our negligence, liability is limited to a replacement of similar value.

Data Responsibility: Customers are responsible for backing up data; we are not liable for loss.

Repair Times: For our 'Come to You' service, we aim to complete all repairs within the allocated appointment duration. For take away repair, we aim to complete all repairs within 5 working days, but may vary. Delays will be communicated.

Diagnostics: Diagnostic tests may take longer than standard repairs.

Water Resistance: Waterproof devices may lose water resistance after repair.

Force Majeure: Delays due to uncontrollable events are not our responsibility.

Liability Limitations: Liability is limited to repair costs and foreseeable losses, excluding indirect losses.

Amendments: Terms may change, and changes applicable to your order will be communicated.
